My story is one of overcoming challenges, finding inspiration, and rediscovering myself. Life threw some curveballs, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to share my journey with you.

When Life Took an Unexpected Turn

Before 2020, I was a social, confident, and healthy woman. Then COVID-19 struck, and everything changed. My mental health took a sharp decline, something completely out of character for me. I sought help immediately and was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. Medications helped stabilise me, but I gained over three stone during this time.

As if that wasn’t enough, I began experiencing symptoms of perimenopause. The combination of these challenges felt overwhelming—but I wasn’t ready to give up on myself.

May 2023: The Turning Point

In May 2023, I decided it was time for change. I stumbled across Davinia on Facebook, and I instantly connected with her no-nonsense, relatable approach. Her backstory resonated with me, and her wealth of knowledge was inspiring.

I followed Davinia on social media and joined the FFS Facebook Group. That’s when everything started falling into place. I bought It’s Not a Diet and listened to the audiobook repeatedly.

Here’s what I implemented from her guidance:

  • Intermittent Fasting: This was a game-changer for me. I found it easy to incorporate and still enjoyed delicious food.
  • Daily Walks: Morning walks became sacred for my mental health and gave me vital daylight exposure.
  • Homemade Electrolytes and Collagen: Simple but effective additions to my daily routine.
  • Gym Membership: Though I started slowly, I’ve grown to love swimming.
  • Cutting Out Alcohol: As a former gin lover, this was a big shift, but it made a massive difference.

Slow and Steady Progress: May to October 2023

By October 2023, I had lost over three stone. The weight came off slowly but consistently, and the changes were life-altering:

  • I had more energy.
  • My sleep improved drastically.
  • My body felt lighter and healthier.
  • Most importantly, I felt more like myself again.

Introducing WillPowders

Although I didn’t try any WillPowders products until December 2023, they’ve become a crucial part of my wellness routine. I started with the Reset Bundle and joined the FFS January 2024 Reset, documenting my journey daily.

The results were astounding! Within just three days, I felt:

  • Lighter: Both physically and mentally.
  • Energised: No longer sluggish and tired.
  • Clear-headed: My focus improved significantly.
  • Not Bloated: A huge relief.
  • Satisfied: I didn’t feel hungry until at least 1 PM!

While I love all the products, the Milk Chocolate Protein Powder is my go-to. It’s delicious, filling, and incredibly versatile.

The reset gave me the perfect boost to kick off 2024, a year I decided to dedicate to ME.

2024: Embracing Change and Growth

Shortly after the January Reset, I experienced another dip in my mental health. After working in a high-pressure retail call centre for over 20 years, the stress and long hours caught up with me. I’d worked overnight shifts when my children were young, which took its toll.

When the opportunity for voluntary redundancy arose, I made the brave decision to leave. In June 2024, I joined a smaller, supportive company just five minutes from home. The shift in environment was life-changing—my mental health improved almost immediately.

Despite this progress, I noticed my body shape changing again, even while using WillPowders. That’s when I realised it was time to refocus on my journey.

2025: A Year of Prioritising Me

This year, it’s all about reclaiming my mental and physical health. I’m on a mission to feel my best for the amazing holidays I’ve booked! I’ve recently completed the January 2025 Reset and am back on track.

My routine is simple yet effective:

  • Following the FFS Reset plan.
  • Consistently using WillPowders products, especially the Milk Chocolate Protein Powder—my favourite! It’s so versatile, whether as a drink, yoghurt topping, or smoothie ingredient.
  • Moving more—I am really enjoying the gym and classes.

I’m also reducing my medication, with plans to take my last dose of citalopram in March 2025—a milestone I’m incredibly proud of.

What I’ve Learned Along the Way

This journey has taught me so much:

  1. Read Labels: Always check what you’re putting into your body.
  2. Don’t Obsess Over the Scales: Focus on how you feel, not just the numbers.
  3. Listen to Your Body: Be mindful of how food affects you.
  4. Prioritise Sleep and Rest: They’re essential for both mental and physical health.

Looking Ahead

I’m so grateful to be part of this journey and the amazing community that Davinia has built. Her hacks and WillPowders products have been life-changing.

2025 is about taking control of my life, continuing to prioritise my health, and celebrating the progress I’ve made. Here’s to being the best version of ME!
