If you haven't tried the WillPowder’s Bone Broth Protein Powder yet, get on it. It’s so tasty and is made using bone broth protein, as opposed to whey or Soy which can have a terrible effect on the gut. These protein balls are gluten free, dead quick to make, and taste really good.  They are the perfect pre party snack, ensuring you don’t over indulge when the buffet opens.

Ingredients

  • 4 Medjool Dates
  • 2 Tbsp Psyllium Husk (available on Amazon)
  • 2 Tbsp WillPowders Chocolate Protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Tsp Cocoa Powder

Method

Step 1

Blitz all of the ingredients together in an electric whizzer until it forms a big sticky ball. Dates can vary in size, so if the mix is too loose, just add a bit more Psyllium Husk and protein powder in equal measure until you get a dough-like consistency. Or conversely, if it is too dry, add another teaspoon of peanut butter (I use Wholearth organic).

Step 2

Roll them into balls and then dust with a bit more protein powder and half a teaspoon of cocoa for a delicious fudgy, chocolatey treat.
